This place perches above the downtown scene, making it perfect for nights that feel a little different. Urban Rooftop Bar is a casual, inviting space that combines a speakeasy-style lounge, craft cocktails, live music, and a laid-back social vibe to keep the rooftop lively but never lose its intimacy. Guests can sip a French 75, share bruschetta or tuna tartare, and settle in for city views across the skyline. Across the street is our second location, named URBAN Eat. Drink offers casual dining and weekend brunch, while you can book our third location, Urban Creekside, for private celebrations in a dedicated event space. Together, the trio of spots offers an overall connected experience of conversation, cocktails, and laid-back downtown energy.
About the Owners
Our story is a simple one. We both grew up in Round Rock, graduated from Round Rock High School, and decided to raise our family in our hometown that we love so much. Our roots are strong, and we have seen Round Rock grow and change a lot in the 40 years that we have lived here. It's grown from a little town with only a few restaurants and the Town and Country Mall...to the thriving city that it is today.
In May 2016, URBAN Eat. Drink was born. We wanted to create a concept that combined that small-town feel with urban cities. We wanted a place where people would walk in and maybe run into an old friend and a place where people could gather to celebrate life's special moments as well as the everyday ones.
So, partnered with Nelson & Carla Nagle, we opened URBAN Eat. Drink in a little historical house on Harris Street. We truly appreciate our valued customers who have helped us to grow and continue to support us. Thank you! -Blake and Allison Notgrass
